our colleagues’ lives, families, jobs, faith and
spiritual growth of the hospital staff, and brings
into the hospital a warmhearted atmosphere.
Campus Mission &
Foreign Labor Concern
The number of the foreign workers in Taiwan has been
increasing. These friends who live far away from
home need a lot of spiritual care and assistance in
their life. In 1996, we invited Missionary to set up
the “Service Center of Chiayi Christian Hospital
for Thailand Workers - Siam ”, “Gospel Center of
Chiayi Christian Hospital for Philippine workers”,
providing the Thailand and Philippine workers with a
place for fellowship and worship.
The Love Of God and the beauty of human nature
onto the schools, the jails, the foreign labors,
home for elderly , the coastal areas, the native
residents’ campus is expressed through the
teaching, mentoring, consulting education of the
Christianity by medical care.
Clinic Pastoral
Education training
The Pastoral Care Department holds Clinic Pastoral
Education training for local church ministers,
seminarians, and other professionals to attain self
growth and to enhance their skill in interpersonal
communication, visiting the sick, and pastoral
counseling.
Oversea
Missionary
From 1996, CYCH assigned the medical mission team
many times to bring God’s love, through medical
mission opportunities, to remote districts which
lack medical treatment, both within and outside the
country. Recently we had the medical missionary team
to Mainland China, Philippine, Thailand, Vietnam for
free medical care.
